Merry X-mas fellow Gnutters!

I have myself an XCR-M with the FAST stock. I am not all that crazy about the stock, except for the fact that it folds. Are there any adapters out there that allow the attachment of an AR type stock (I love the UBR!) and still allow it to fold?

Let me know your thoughts, opinions, criticisms, likes, dislikes, what works for you, what doesn't... you get the idea.

Happy Holidays fellas, look forward to your input.

I was not that fond of the Fast stock either. When shooting from the bench, if I let the stock ride on a sandbag and pulled down a bit on the pistolgrip to steady it up, the stock would come unlatched at the join. Not all the time but enough to become a pain in the ass. I ended up putting on an NEA stock adaptor and a Magpul UBR and that solved all the problems. It did make it a bit heavier on the backside but I think it balanced out alot better.
Regards.

I had the same problem with the stock unlatching. I was going to try and put a stronger spring in, but decided against it. I find the FAST to be a very flimsy stock, good concept, just poorly made. I am going to endeavor to attach a black UBR to it. I really like the folding feature though, hopefully I can find an adaptor to make it happen. Is the adaptor the same for the smaller caliber rifles?

You have a early gen FAST stock. Contact Wolverine and order a new stronger spring if you desire to fix the problem.
