You might want to look into the Burris PEPR quick release mount. This also allows you to swap optics quick. The 4-14 falcon is a good all around scope.

I have a Leupold VX111 4.5-14X40mm LR Varmint reticle scope mounted much the same way on my XCR-L I just lowered the cheek piece on the FAST stock to the lower setting when I have the scope mounted.

Lowering the cheek piece is super simple just grab it hard pull it back an 1" or so lower it then push it forward to lock back in place.
