"Sir, your rifle seems to have an erection!"

Too bad they couldn't just modify an AK mag - but I see how the XCR magwell won't accept the curvature of the AK mag at the top. Wonder what spare mags will cost. I personally would like a smaller mag than the one pictured.

ya, 1400.00 us. for the one i'd want..... not so bad..... if it was a .308 :D
mind you, if i was to go out right now and buy the AR of my choice.... i'd be spending the same kinda cash.... so.... hmmmm

Wolverinesupplies.com has the 5.56 and it isnt 1400, 2400 would be more correct.

Last batch of XCR's went for $1995CDN. If you configure an XCR on the Robarm website that same way that we get them here in Canada it comes to $1750USD. Thats less than $250 difference, not bad for the cost of importation.

agreed

and they are at least 1000 less than a sig black special, i dont call that "close" to the same cost

If a retailer had one for under 2000.00 set up , I'd go for that.... 2400.00 I'd source it from the u.s. myself. I've done this with other items and was happy with the result.
A retailer here, buys at a wholesale price, so adding a grand to the u.s. retail... and chalking it up to import fees, taxes, or what have you...... doesn't add up. I am intimately familiar with the process of wholesale/retail, importation of goods from u.s./china , and the effect of the falling u.s. dollar on canadian retail. Businesses here that want to stay competetive are having to drop prices and spread that "loss" over thier whole product lines.... that's just the business environment we are currently living in.... the firearms industry is not immune to this situation. I am not in any way trashing on canadian retailers.... please don't get that impressiuon.
I'm liking this rifle and will be in the states for a gunshow road trip and to visit friends so while i'm down i'll try and get a "hands on" with one of these rifles.
i think one of these is gonna end up in my gunsafe one day.... but then i'm hearing rumours of this possible .308 MASADA :dancingbanana: ...... and the piggy bank is only so big :D ;)
