XCR stock wobbly.

I just bought a new XCR and finally got it out to the range tonight. I've put a total of 55 rounds through it and the previous owner put only 100 down the pipe. The stock, I noticed tonight, has become loose and wobbles.
I'm just curious if anyone can shed any light on how to tighten it back up? I looked at the base of the stock and couldn't find any sign of a bolt or screw. How do I prevent this from happening again?
 
Did he give you the instruction manual? All the adjustments for the stock are in there.
 
Your instruction manual will provide you the directions on how to do the factory quality control on a rifle that has already left the factory.

You've made some great contributions to this board, but it seems with anything XCR related, all you to is troll troll troll. I hope the mods deal with this at some point.

I had this, and just tightened a bolt,..I forget which one but google or the XCR forum is your friend.
 
Armedsask isnt exactly out of line, for example my XCR out of the box had the extractor fly down range upon firing the first round. I had disassembled the gun prior to firing and couldnt see anything wrong. Robarms did everything to fix it ASAP and customer service was very helpful, but its kind of disheartening to have your 2300 dollar rifle do that right out of the box.

It has now run for around 500 rounds with no cleaning just some oil on it. Havent had a single malfunction so far. Great rifle and good accuracy with 55gr pmc. Minute of coyote atleast ;). Cant wait to take it back to the farm.

Nothing to see here so move along. What the other poster posted was an answer for how the OP could fix his problem. The reasons for this problem are probably best left to another thread though.
 
I've had a lot of issues with the 7.62 but I'm working through them. I think it might be the ammo itself. I have to have the gas on 4 to get extraction and that sure loosens up the bolts from the violent cycling of the action. A simple tune up and some small parts makes it as good as new though.
 
it cycles fine on 4. if i turn it to 3 it wont feed properly. its def the ammo. some of it has that clear coating on it that messes thing up.

Thanks. I figured as much. After 120 rounds the trouble begins... including loosening of the stock.

my stock has never loosened up at all and I have had a single point sling attached to it so some extra pressure. put some lock tite on it.
