yes I have looked at other threads,...but none seemed to answer my question. Any one think that a JP spring kit would work in an XCR? The trigger is IMHO, very heavy. What areas need attention to smooth it up? I really don't want to mess with angles of the sear and hammer,..but there has to be a way to lighten the trigger pressure.

Other than that I find very little to fault with this rifle. IT shoots accurate,...ergonomics are good. Thanks to Wolverine I have a the N cell Eotech with NV option....mounted just ahead of the chamber, and a Falcon Ergo suregrip.

Sorry, it's late and I just hate the XCR.

I doubt the JP springs would work unless they make something specifically for the XCR. I've heard of guys polishing the parkerizing off the contact points and that helping. You could try putting some polishing compound on the contact points and repeatedly operating the trigger to try and smooth things out.

You may be able to cheat things with a sort of AR15 15 minute trigger fix thing, doing some spring bending and such, but who knows, I'm just guessing now.

In the end, my previous comment still stands.

I read on the Robarm site that they are producing a better 2 stage trigger for the gun. Should be able to get Wolverine Supplies to order you one shortly. I know this is one of the main complaints with the XCR. And just for the Record the XCR is an excellent rifle.

I haven't done it personally, but one of the first owners of the initial batch of XCR's put in one of the JP spring kits and it made an incredible difference in the weight, and quality, of the trigger pull.
For what it's worth...I had one of the first batch..found the trigger and overall balance of the gun off putting...
I'm also less than impressed with having a beta product...where the customer is sold a 'not ready for prime time' product...then when the complaints flow in, the maker starts doing the development that should have been done before the product was released....
I sold it....

Seems that second gen owners got a much different product than the first.

I'm happy with the trigger on mine and the rifle over all. Sure it's not a match trigger but it's decent and comparable to a run of the mill AR.

How many rounds have you put downrange so far? Mine lightened/smoothed out significantly after a few hundred rounds.
