XCR with MDT Skeleton?

Im looking to replace my xcr fast stock with an mdt skeleton buttstock, is this possible?

I know its possible with the magpul prs but I'm not the biggest fan of the prs.

i dont know about htat stock but If it use a buffer tube i dont see why it shouldn't be possible

There's no buffer tube for the mdt skeleton, it's a fixed stock. I'm wondering if this will work? Or would anyone know of any adapters that will work with the mdt skeleton?

Sounds like the skeleton stock isn't made to directly fit an AR15 to begin with... so you'd need multiple adapters; skeleton to ar15, and then xcr to ar15 or whatever. Maybe this thread will help http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...-Robinson-XCR-amp-MDT-s-Folding-Stock-Adapter

yes, it will work, the MDT skeleton stock comes with its own adapter.

are you sure? the mdt skeleton requires the mdt fixed stock adapter in order to use on the lss. however, that fixed stock adapter is specific to the lss or tac21 as far as i know.

I used the XLR buttstock on mine and it worked fine with a buffer tube adaptor for the XCR. I don't see why it won't work.

I just ordered one to go with the LSS chassis. It says it's only made for their systems. I had to by the fixed stock adapter to attach it to the LSS as it's only buffer tube ready. (BTW, they seem to have a butt stock sale on these right now. $100 off ones with slight paint/machine blemishes.)

100% sure man. If your xcr takes the Magpul PRS, it will fit the MDT.

The reason they said that is because the cheek riser on the stock will kinda get into the way with the bolt went the cheek piece its on the high position...that is all, but it will fit.

...and that is because the LSS uses only the collapsible buffer tube that is why,but an adapter is not required on the LSS-XL.

LOP would be too long, wouldn't it? The grip of the xcr is not as far back as an AR 15.

Not to resurrect a dead thread but the skeleton fits fine on my xcr. You just need that dlask adapter (65 bucks).

Yep, sure. I'm at work for a few days but I can post up when I get home. I originally tried the normal v3, but I found it made my already hefty heavy barrel gen 1 too clunky. I found the skeleton lite was perfect for fore and aft balance and (unlike the FAST) gave me a really solid cheek weld on my scope.
