XD9 Legit in IPSC Production class

For you guys who do IPSC in Canada. Is the XD9 is accepted in production class?

I am kind of mixed up. I read on some american site that the XD is classed as a single action pistol and cannot be used in the production class. Was it BS or not?

ps: By the way, I tried to search the subject. But the search engine refuse to find anything where the word xd9 is used.

XD was marketed by Springfield as a single action pistol.

IPSC decided it was a striker fired double action. Thus it is OK in IPSC Production Division.
