XDm 9mm vs HK USP tactical

What are you guys thoughts on the two? I have looked at the xdm not the HK, wanna know your guys thoughts on the two compared to each other both look like great pistols.

Or maybe there is another pistol you guys recommend to look at as well.

HK USP Tactical is an overpriced USP. The base model USP is at gunsngames for $945... I will never sell my HK USP, it's a keeper. Have never seen or touched the XD but I'm already happy! You get used to the mag release by the way (either love it or hate it).
 
Got the xdm.......and love it. Got the 226 also and it's a great pistol. Not as good as the xdm IMO. USP....shot it and would own it if it wasn't for the mag release. Like everyone else says, see which fits you best. Not to make your decision tougher but the M&P should be on your list also....feels great just holding it. GL
 
i have a xdm and its my favorite pistol that i have and a great little range package as well. And not to be repeating what everyone is saying but go out and feel which fits best and I recommend on shooting what gun you decide on before buying. I have a pistol that feels like a glove but I would be better off throwing the bullets rather that shooting them. Just because its uber comfortable does not mean its a good shooter for you. If you are a member at your local range you could chat with members there and they would probably let you try their guns or go to one of those rent n shoot places. Go with what ever feels and works good for you and your wallet, the skies the limit and good luck.
 
For those talking about the mag release on the HK...there is an extended one available...I've got it on mine and it definitely works better than the standard one (bigger area to push on makes it easy peasy).
