XLR in Canada

I bought one direct a few years ago. Great stock. Also stopped in on the shop this past August in CO. Great guys, and they took me on a tour. From what I recall, they were looking for another importer in Canada as they cannot ship up here.

Yeah, pretty sure it's ITAR restricted. How did you buy yours directly?

They used to sell direct to us I think until they realized they couldn't. I had also bought an evolution chassis years ago, but the last time I checked with them it was a no go.

As said multiple times above, XLR used to ship directly up north. All of a sudden they stopped. After a quick conversation with Nick from XLR Industries, he stated that their export license expired and all international orders would need to go to a licensed exporter. UBExports imported my second XLR carbon. It might have cost around $150 after the conversion. That was a few years ago and there might be local options today (XReloader, BigHorn, etc...)

According to XLR Industries in the US. Lockhart Tactical is the Canadian distributor for XLR. I just ordered a few accessories for my chassis from them.

I wanted a light chassis inletted for the dead line action. The ESS is a little porky for me and there's no LSS's with the DL inlet. XLR is the only other option at the moment. I was looking at the evolution carbon but hadn't decided anything yet. What issues did you have with lockhart? I've had good luck with mdt in the past but I'm open to other options.
