Would you rather carry ammo and have to load it, costing you valuable time, or would you prefer it in your gun?

Of course the answer is always “in my gun.”

Roth Concept Innovations, LLC ("RCI") is the ONLY manufacturer of the XRAIL Systems: add-on shotgun accessories that are versatile enough to use one unit on more than one shotgun, giving capacity up to 23 rounds, and does not alter the original gun. From military and law enforcement to competitive shooting, if you need extra rounds in your shotgun (for less than lethal such as crowd control or to shave time off your score in a competition match), the XRAIL System is the solution.

Our Mission: To provide the best high capacity solution for your shotgun that is easy to use, durable, and installs in minutes.

What it is: XRAIL Systems are Xtreme Roth Auto Indexing Loaders for shotguns. It is a magazine extension system for shotguns that will allow a shotgun to have extra usable rounds of ammunition. An XRAIL System loads the same way you would normally load your gun. Once the main tube is full, you rotate the XRAIL System to the next auxiliary tube and load. You repeat until all tubes are full. When you shoot, the tubes will automatically rotate back to the main tube as the ammunition is unloaded. The XRAIL System is flexible enough to be “topped off” or if not needed, you do not have to fill the auxiliary tubes and just use the main tube like you would normally use your shotgun.

RCI's Add-On XRAIL Systems:
XRAIL Systems are made of hard coated black anodized aluminum and stainless steel all non corrosive with black nylon or clear polycarbonate unified tubes. Compact unit weight is 1 lbs 8 oz. empty and full version is 2 lbs 1 oz. empty. Weight of units full depends on type of ammunition used. Installation requires no gun smithing and can be done in minutes.

XRAIL Systems are designed to fit multiple shotgun platforms and are very versatile. The XRAIL System purchase comes with the connecting system you choose. To switch from one shotgun platform to another, one only needs to purchase a different XRAIL Connecting System. RCI’s XRAIL Combo System will come with one platform connecting system, one outer housing and both compact and full version inner tube housings which can be switched in less than 2 minutes.

*Shorter than minimum recommended lengths will work but can cause some long term carbon build-up on tube housing.

There are various high capacity solutions for the shotgun, but ours is the only one that is NOT a gun (which means you still have the dependability of the gun you are currently using with the benefit of more than doubling its capacity), has the versatility to be used on more than one shotgun, and keeps the gun length shorter than using traditional extension tubes.

XRAIL Systems and all RCI products are 100% Made in USA.

Interesting idea...weight of the ammo might make the shotgun harder to swing around and a little more muzzle heavy though

^^^^
Indeed very interesting concept. I'm anxious to here reports on how it affects balance.

It's too bad that they advertise it as magazine extension rather than a magazine assembly. Could've been a possible loophole to jump through for semi shotguns. Who knows :nest:

If I was LE or MIL I'd take the AA12, 10 round box mag or 20 round drum, semi and full auto.
That design looks interesting but it looks to be a little front heavy.

Minimum barrel length of 26 inches? That's not very tactical-ish or practical in any LE/MIL situations. And would only make the gun that much more off-balance.

Its an interesting invention, but I don't know if it will take top prize at next year's SHOT show.

like a fat kid on a teeter totter...by himself..

^LOL - pretty much what i was thinking.
a 26" barrel with 23 rounds of 12ga ammo hanging off it would have the handling of an 8-foot 4x4.

balance/handling issues aside - many of these high-capacity systems also have some wierd proprietary mag that is extremely complicated to reload. a skilled user can top off a typical 8-round extended mag shotgun within seconds -- i believe the ability to quickly top off and reload trumps having one fixed high-capacity drum.

It was at this years SHOT show.

It was bulky and unwieldy, but still pretty cool. I'd never use one for serious work, but they'd be a lot of fun on the range or for 3 gun.

I think they had one with a bunch of dummies in it. Imagine take a SS handun and tape it to a 26" long pole and try carrying that around. On the plus side muzzle rise would be minimal.

Completely agree, There is no substitute for training.

and when you do run out of shells do you have to reload into the chamber 1 by 1 by 1 ?
nvm its f-ugly looking beyond the weight issue id never own one

a 32rd drum would be super kewl on a shottie, ohh nvm thats a aa12 and we'll never see that beauty north of the border
