Hmmmm i could have sworn they were a smaller size than the check riser thumb screws.......I'll have to go back and check that out.

I used mine to lock in the height adjustable buttpad, and used the other to lock in the cheek riser pad. I kept the length of pull to be field adjustable. Its your equipment use it how you want. But i do understand on figuring out its intended use.

Also, to clarify, that video was for the ESS style stock. I'm referring to the XRS stock. I don't think i can adjust the height on the XRS buttpad, just the LOP with spacers.

Anywho, getting off track here lol, i like the thumb screw regardless just wasn't sure what the set screws were for.
