xs ghost ring sight on 870 adjustment

So this past weekend i picked up a Remington 870 express tactical with the XS ghost ring sights. To say the least i absolutely love it. i dont know what it is about this particular sight but the moment i pulled it up in front of my face i felt like i'd been using it for years. it just was so natural to me.

in any case i've figured out how to adjust the sight for windage, but i'm still shooting a little bit higher than i'd like to and no matter how i look on google i cant seem to find information on how to adjust the elevation. could anybody help me out?
 
You need to loosen the windage locking screws a bit and then simply turn the ghost ring to thread it down lower. Lock the windage screws when you've found your elevation.
Each 1/2 turn will move impact about an inch at 100 yards
 
Only loosen one of the windage screws (doesnt matter which one) enough so that the actual ring will turn. That way when you tighten the windage screw again everything is back in the same position. didnt your gun come with instructions for the sight? mine did, just bought it a month ago.
