XS ghost ring sights

I can't anwser you question but I can recomend Tim Skinner Sights. I have a set on my Marlin 1895G and Marlin 1894. They are of the highest quatliy, durable and accurate. Tim will ship them to you in a week or less. He's a very good guy. He also has just started making his sights in stainless steel, a little more than the brass but still very resonable.

Good luck.

Your welcome.

Another reason I like dealing with Tim is if there is any problems with workmanship or damage in the field he will get you fixed up and take care of it asap. And he'll make custom size appature sizes for you aswell.

Let us know how you like them once you get them on your rifle. What type of sight and materal did you order?

Cheers

I think you made the right choice, I've recently purchased a 308 with factory installed XS Ghost rings on it....Awesome for a shotgun...not so much for a rifle.

The front site from XS is so big it covers 14-16" of target at 50 yards. and was shooting decent groups if you could find what you are shooting at from behnd the bead. But they were almost 12" high, even from a benchrest.

I swapped out to a .406 Williams front bead and it helped greatly with the target acquisition, but it is now shooting 8" high.

I love the sights, they are amazing on a dogging gun, but I am having a hell of a time getting them dailed in. I'm over 50 rounds trying to sight this rifle with these sights.

I ordered the #002 in blued steel for my Marlin 1895 in 45-70. Also I like the idea of being able to buy different heights of front sights from him, especially if you are having problems with vertical adjustment when sighting it in. thx again. cheers
