XS Sights for the M14

Has anyone here used the XS Sights made M14 sights?

I'm going to be building my M14 project gun starting at the end of Feb and what I want to build is a quasi-Mk14.
I've got the Norc M14 waiting for me, and I now have the Sage Chopmod. I want to replace the Norc iron sights with a tritium front post and an enlarged .125 rear aperture (as per the Mk14 issued gun). Conveniently enough the XS Sights M14 sights are exactly that (I'm still new with M14 stuff so hold back the laughter if XS is the actual supplier of the sights:) ).
I've got XS Sights on my shotgun and Glock and like them. So, anyone who has mounted these, what do you think about them?
 
I don't care for the super thick XS front sight, but I do like
the looks of the SEI M14 Tritium Bar Combat Sight (P/N 2018).

This sight does not require a new rear peep sight.

I had the XS Tritium front M14 sight mounted with a dovetail gaslock on my SAGE EBR .

I liked the set up and the Tritium was easy to pick up.

I don't know if it was specific to the Springfield contract runs, but the tritium element has been known to pop off after a few hundred rounds of firing. This was the case with mine as well.
