Hi folks,

1. anyone own these?

2. how much fitting was required to fit both the front and rear to a Norc?

3. are they a worthwhile upgrade?

I had the front Tritium sight on my Mark 14 Mod 0 EBR clone........which was all USGI/SEI.......Awesome sight......great for low light conditions.....

To mount this on your Norc,you would need a metric dove tail gas lock.......you don't need the rear sight.......just drill out the factory rear norc sight...... I did that in my Norc Shorty and it worked great.......;)
 
thanks, that may be too much of a hassle.
theres no way to mod it to the Norc front sight dovetail?

as for the rear sight - ive drilled out mine too, on my 2007. initially to correct an off-center aperture that was driving me crazy, but then i actually found i much preferred the 'ghost ring' size.
i only see these sold as a set at Brownells.

Agreed. A buddy had it on his and neither he nor I liked it at distance with such a thick post. He went back to the oem front post. Give credit where it is due though.. at short range this really is the cat's @ss!
 
I have both and on my shorty it's great for up close and personal shooossting tuktu(caribou) but for long range it's waaaay too thick.
