LeBaron in Marham ON got a shipment in last week. I had one in my hands. Pretty cheap gun, but would do in a pinch I suppose. They're probably sold out by now. They also had the Ruger 10/22 takedown model that comes with a backpack. Much better gun for the money.

I bought one from Cabela's last spring and sold it by the end of the summer. It's fun for a time, works well, is reliable, and is ultra portable. I found, though, that the novelty of the thing wore off pretty quick. I did not find it to be particularly comfortable to use or accurate, but my son shot better with it than I did. If you need a compact and portable survival rifle, it's great for that. If you are looking for a plinker, I think there are less expensive options better suited to that need. Just some thoughts.
