Yea! Shotguns!!

There is really something about shotguns that just makes me want more of them. I just added another one to the stable then I realized I don't have a super shorty, so now I am one the hunt for one of those. They are fun to tinker with and really, there is not much left out there if you like to bulid / modify.

Looks like we have a semi auto (1301) convert, good stuff.
Shotguns are a blast to shoot!
I still have an affinity for my pumps, and in a WW1 muck and trench scenario I'd want to have a 590A1 on my shoulder, but the 1301 is spectacular. Like, astounding. A 14 inch model with heat shield would be perfection.

I have two semi auto's, 1 pump action and 1 shorty SxS, plus hundreds and hundreds of shells. And I'm just getting started.
This shotgun disease you speak of is REAL!

There is at least one shorty 1301 out there, Tacord custom.

I'd be very interested in how it patterns buck. I assume it's also threaded for choke tubes? I don't know how long the forcing cone is extended or how important those last 4 inches are in the Beretta barrel.
I've no idea but is irrelevant anyways. I believe the barrel was cut down making it a prohib. As a manufacturer Tacord can do this and posses it for testing or as demo for trade shows and the like but can not sell it. At least that was the story I heard.

I will confer with Casey and get it straight from the guy who built it and report back.
