Yeah, new toy today!

Thanks to everybody who answered questions over the last week regarding this build! Ruger charger in a butler creek stock, bipod, dot sight, compensator (or night shooter invisibility device), butler creek steel lips mag. I've included a shot of my other ruger 10/22 stainless for scale.

I wanted another plinker that I could let rip with without worrying about $ or capacity laws, so.... What do you think?

By the way, for the observant, I haven't rigged the flash hider on yet, I just got it a couple hours ago... and yeah, it looks a little crazy when I pop the 50rnd drum in it...

Yeah, it's restricted, but so would any rifle be if I put this length of barrel on it. That's ok, I own lots of restricted guns, what of it?

Gonna raise some eyebrows at the local range this weekend, (like my other toys don't do that already...) I've got to learn some arabic phrases to scare the fudds... I said fudds, not feds! They have eyes and ears everywhere

theres one in the EE right now..... and one memeber here is a dealer (not a contributing one) but he has alot of mags and drums for sale... PM me for info

So how do you like the drum? Have you tried it out yet? Have fun. I had to shave the steel lip down for it to work. Looks awesome though.

Thanks! Gonna try it on sunday. Drum works well as long as you stick with round nosed copper stuff. Hp lead nosed just plowed 1/10 against the bore lip. Fit is a little loose on butler creek or tapco stock (snug on original), but an easy fix is two pieces of fuzzy side velcro on the sides that fit into the mag well. You don't see it, and it fits nice and snug afterwards.
