After trying out one of my Cooper Jackson Hunters in 280AI,a hunting partner decided to order one for himself.After it arrived from Prophet River, we mounted a Zeiss Conquest 3.5-10x44 scope with the Rapid Z 600 reticle, loaded up some test loads using the 140gr TTSX,IMR 4831,and R-22,and waited for warmer weather.On Thursday,he finally tested the rifle,and it produced groups averaging right around 1/2" using IMR 4831.The R-22 loads averaged closer to 1".Now we just have to wait for spring to do the final load development.

"final load development"?...a half inch and you're looking for more?...I'd be done,..but them I'm lazy when it comes to working up loads...I really should buy one of those Coopers......saw one in a 280AI Excaliber at the gunshow today....nice.
