Very nice!
Do you find that the off-set scope messes with the handling much?
Also, remember that groups are measured centre to centre, so you can take about .3 inches off of each measurement.I'd toss the flyer too and take the best 4.
Next stop... match barrel.![]()
When I first put the scope on, I found that I would end up tilting the rifle to the right slightly so the scope "felt like it was on center". I guess it was just a habit of having scopes mounted on center. Now, I'm used to the offset. However, it's slightly less comfortable to shoot than a gun with a centerline scope.
I was thinking about a putting a longer match barrel on it. I know the bore on this rifle is .310". I was thinking of putting a .308" barrel as it would be easier to find. Since I will be reloading for this gun, I thought a .308" barrel would also give me a larger variety of bullets to choose from.
I understand the barrel is press fit into the receiver and a pin holds it there. I've heard of people threading the receiver and replacing the barrel with a bull barre. It's something I would like to do, but Im not sure how much more accurate I can make this gun.
