Gents:
My bear-in-the-tent M37 is about ready to go, but I'm still working with the bead alone as a sighting mechanism. I'd like to take the advice of Col. Cooper (RIP) and install a ghost ring rear / front post set up.
The ring installs on the receiver, the post at the end of the barrel (unsurprisingly). The barrel will be removed with some frequency. This will, naturally, change the relationship between the two sights, potentially every single time I whip the barrel off and on. The relative movement between the two will be pretty minor - my 37 is solid, and returns to pretty much the same spot every time. However, there's bound to be some wiggle.
My question: will there be enough wiggle to worry about? I can also consider an express sight / front post setup, but would prefer a ghost ring for the sake of speed.
Anyone have any experience? How about recommendations for sights?
Thanks, gang.
