Great gun for a starter. Learning on irons with a bolt action .22 is the right way to start. There is alot of knowledgeable people on the site that could answer or help guide you through the sport. Not only for new shooters but everyone runs into a question that someone here has the answer for.Good luck.

Dont do it... youll spend too much time and money chasing a silly tight group. No need for that in the hunting world,... unless you wanna go nuts on a quarter inch group.
