Yet another Rpal question

Hello everyone, im sorry for having to post this as there are 700 threads about rpal waiting periods and whatnot, but i couldnt find what i was looking for. I just wanted to know from someone who remembers or just got their Rpal how long it took AFTER their refrences were interviewd. Both my references were just questioned and i want to know if thats a sign theyre at the end of the investigation or in the middle, and how long after the interview i have to wait. If it helps i sent my application in on december 10th 2008. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
 
Mine was issued the same day (Submitted end of August 2008, received end of October 2008) PAL/RPAL combined. YMMV though. Keep checking the website.

It seems to vary quite a bit from person to person as to when they call or if they call at all. Myself and my references were called in the first week they recieved my app. Recieved licence about 5 weeks after that.
 
same day, almost instantly acctually, after they got off the phone with my refrences I checked the website and it was issued.

Drache, sorry to bring this up again but aren't you the same person from the other tread where you were denied your pal because of some indcent from a couple years ago?
 
2 weeks after they called my Ref's, I got my RPAL, here in Alberta. Don't be concerned about them NOT calling your wife, they never called mine either.
 
Still waiting for mine but 23 days after my application was received my references and I were called. They didn't call my wife neither. At the end of the call with my father in law (reference #1), the guy said I would receive my RPAL within 10-14 days. So I should have 10 days of waiting left...

Our service standards to process a complete and accurate application are:

* 45 days, including the 28-day legislated waiting period, for a licence application, and 30 days for a registration application.

Mine was 44 days on the nose from the day they received my application in the system to when I received by card it in the mail.

Everyone I know, including when mine was done, had their references called w/in the first 8 - 10 days of them receiving the application.
