I need some advice...I have an Eotech G23 and Eotech 552 combo. I like the head position achieved by using the 7mm riser on the magnifier. I have a YHM eotech riser to line up the sight with the magnifier.
Here's the problem: With my BUIS, there is not enough room to mount all 3 components without the forward arm of the YHM riser resting on the handguard rail. When bridging the gap this way, the front of the YHM riser gets shifted ever so slightly to the left.
I am sure that I could compensate for the slight shift by moving the eotech's reticle to the right, but will bridging the gap be problematic in any other respects (i.e. abnormal wear on the handguard, shifting of the mount etc? I would prefer not to lose the BUIS...I enjoy my tacticool hole punch.
Thanks
