I have been looking for a nice sxs 20g upland gun with 28 inch barrel's for a long time preferbaly new with double trigger's but under 1000. Their's only 1 place too get or look at new gun's here but their's never manny sxs's and not manny people have them around here. I was going too order a Stoger uplander I never seen one in person but they looked good and my gunsmith said they are a good gun for the money and said he could get me one for around 600 last year. So a while agow I when't too his new place too order one and found out that he is a dealer for Yildiz and after handeling one of their sxs's I really like it and it's only 5 1/2 pound's now he would prefer too sell me one of these 900 inc tax with 7 chocke's in 20 gauge and he say's their better than a stoger I was wondering if annyone know's annything abought them or if their really anny better than the Stoger? This will be my first doubble gun and I would like too get the Yildiz if everyone has had good luck with them but I don't know annything abought them or how they would last can annyone help me out ?

We deal them too. IMHO, they are are great gun for the money. A lot of hand finishing; you can afford to do this with the exchange rates to Turkish currency. Usually, pretty decent wood too. We've got a 410 SxS that is finished so well, you can't even feel where the wood meets the metal along the side plates. Any problems, and you can get them warrantied right here in AB.

If you want a gun that you can carry all day then the Yildiz is the answer. At 5.5 lbs surprisingly they have very little recoil + 5 screw in chokes --- great value. . I'v shot one for woodcock, pheasants & grouse for the past 3 years without a hickup. A fair number of them in O/U's at our club with thousands of rounds thru them with no problems. If it fits you buy it with confidence.

Yeh I looked at 12,20,410 sxs over under and a single and they all had real nice wood and metal finnish you could't feel where the wood and metal meet I'm just waighting too find out a little more on a brand I don't know mutch abought or I would have one now it seemed too me that they wer more than a good deal at 900 inc tax and I would't mind paying that for one at all. But it is alot of money for me.

I've got two, one is a nice little single shot 410. The best made little 'cheap' 410 I've ever seen. I use it for ruffed grouse when moose hunting. Its better made than a lot of 'brand name' shotguns going for several times the price. I've also got a nice 20 SxS. What a well-balanced nice shooting gun. I've shot each only a few hundred times. Zero issues. I'd say you can be safe in your purchase.
Here's a pic of one like my 410(stole the pic off SA's thread). If you pot shoot grouse or for other uses, I can't endorse this little gun enough. Mine's actually got much nicer walnut than this one. Neat how it folds up too. :) :

I was looking at a Yildiz or a Stoeger until I happened upon TradeEx. If used is ok, they've got double barrel shotguns CHEAP.

Yep there are some cheap iported used guns around. When purchasing a shotgun, how it fits you is most important -- much different kettle of fish than buying a rifle. If you are buying a shotgun for hunting, it must fit so that you can swing it fast get on a flying bird. Personally, I would never buy a shotgun that I have not had in my hands or at least fondeled a borrowed one of the same model. Some of these imports can swing like a 2X4.
A tip to chrck for fit -- Pick up the candidate gun, place your feet about sholder width apart with your foot opposit to your trigger finger slightly ahead (about 1/2 your foot size) of you other foot, close your eyes or eye, shoulder the gun with cheek on the stoch as if to fire. Open your eye -- if you have to move or adjust to acheive a target picture in relation to the barrel, then the gun does not fit. move on to another choice. It's important to have everything line up naturally -- Remember if you see the barrel on a flying bird , you will miss the bird. When you sholder a shotgun that fits, at a flying target you should only see the target the gun will shoot where your looking.
Cheers/Luck
