hey all,
so im looking into picking up an O/U, but dont have the big bucks for a high dollar gun. I will be using it mainly for hunting upland and such but may also get into some clay shooting. I know many will say i should just save up and buy a better name, but im wondering if anyone has experience with either of these two guns and good give me some reviews on them, as i dont feel like spending a whole lot on my first over under. thanks in advance!

The yildiz shotguns are light and make a great/reliable light field gun and have the benefit of parts & fast service readily available from Wide North (importer).
The stoegers are alot heavier and in my opinion not as lively in the hands as the former but are a good prodict with few faults -- Stoeger of Canada is not famous for their service.

Not sure where you are looking, but the EE bandits want 875$ and up for anything stamped Citori or Superposed.

Well worth the premium for a gun that even bought used, can be handed down to a grandchild rather than try to dump a pos on some poor sod with a limited budget.
I sure didn't regret starting out with a used Winchester model 96(the so called poor man's 101). It was reliable, looked good and I had the fixed chokes opened to suit my intended quarry.
