We have been having a run of stops by CO's this winter. They are stopping for license plates on sleds as well as checking fishing licenses. Wonder if the blockades have any part in this around here on not but seems I am on first name basis with a couple CO's. They have been getting reports of over limits on some of the lakes and that is a good enough reason for me. I don't have a sled but use my quad when the snow on the lake is down to a point I can access the lakes. Don't think they have found any stolen sleds or quads because of the plates but it might help with finding some. My plate is on the right side in front of the rear fender so it won't get ripped off, and they said it was ok.
