You can change a old savage 110 into

into a chassis from MDT and make the makes work, need to remove .121" from the rear of the receiver under the bolt to make it so the mag clears. Next is the barrel and a better scope. Working on pics so you know it did happen,

I was playing around with an older Savage with a blind mag, but never got around to fitting it into a new stock with a removeable mag.

there is some machining that needs to be done, so I am looking forward to seeing the pictures and your solution

the pic is looking up into the mag well and only took 35 min set up and 20 min cutting with a 5mm carbide; 4 flute and 800rpm ; 45deg cutter as well ; will see on wed if it works under pressure in competition. Two mags of 5 as fast as you can go at 5 different targets.
