I was just checking the going price of Model 94 Winchesters on the "EE" and I am appalled !
Has the old saying " you only get what you pay for" fell out of favour?
They'r practically giving them away !
At those prices , I couldn't help but feel there was something wrong with all those rifles.
It's not just the "EE" , the whole internet pricing has gone mad !
I want a good one . Crank up them prices boys. I don't mind taking out a second mortgage for a well used lever gun , but nobody wants to buy something questionable because it didn't cost enough ! You only get what you pay for...... right?

Some used guns are priced higher than brand new, they must be better, you could always grab one of those

Not terribly hard if the price is too high scroll on by. Or make them an offer you feel is appropriate. What is the worst that will happen, they respond with a few mean words on the internet?

Seriously though, a few years back a post 64 was $300 to $350, a pre64 was $500, now I cant even see a post64 for less than $500.

In 2011 I bought an AG42 for $225 and an SVT40 for $300 and a brand new Ruger No. 1 for $1099. Powder was everywhere at $28 a pound and a brick of .22lr was $15.

That wasn't very long ago.

Guns and ammo have gone up a lot more than official inflation numbers the last 10 years.

Let's be honest. The world is ####ed up and the following months are going to be even worst than the 2008 crisis. Prices are going down.

I bought a Marlin 336 about a year and a half ago and their price went up over $200 since then. I know because I love it so much I wanted another and was appalled by the price jump. thinking I should jump now before they go up even more.
