I could not find a date stamp on it but I did not remove the stock so I'm not sure if there is one under the barrel or not.
There are some electro penciled marks on the rifle like the gas tube (if thats what you call it)

in my sticky it says, if your top cover does not have a production date and a small star on the left side of the receiver then its made in Tula in 1955/56.

I saw your sticky after I posted the photos. There is some really good info there, I will read through it when I get home. Thanks for the info.
