Just a little reminder to all the guys that are thinking of turkey hunting in the Northumberland forest that it's ALL off limits !!!!!
Our great council members voted a couple months ago to ban hunting on the west side of hyw 45 and on the east side it's only open for deer seasons.No small game of any kind anymore !!!.This area is just north of Cobourg Ontario and takes in alot of land.During the deer hunt vehicular travel is a no-no as well so if your deer hunting in the fall I hope you've got lots of guys to drag your deer out or a wheel barrow !
This just ticks me off but there's not much anyone can do now.I've never hunted in the forest as I've got enough places to hunt but I feel really sorry for those who used it for hunting.I live a stones throw away from it.I'm really thinking that the co's are going to have a hay day charging people who don't know about this crap as it's not even posted as no hunting so I'm sure someone's going to get it !.
