8mm Mauser is still available from a few manufacturers. Finding it isn't overly difficult but the price is fairly high. Last time I purchased some Winchester 8mm Mauser it was about $28 for 20 rounds. Reloading makes things much easier and I find myself only buying factory made ammo to get the brass.

so its the same calibre thanks for the quick reply!

Locally I was buying it for about $20/20. All commercial of course. It's a pity that igman's no longer available as it was $16/20.

Shoots the same as 3006, good round, good gun, good choice ;)

I've recently bought some 1970's Romanian surplus steel cased rounds at gun shows for $35 for 50. Nice ammo in very good condition.

it is the same. Shoots '8x57JS'. Can be hard to find but its out there, exepensive.

Privi is usualy 18 for 20 and remington iv seen near 31 for 20.
