I forgot about the ppk. I remember doing my restricted course years back and reading the book and thinking......mother ####er I still can't get a ppk.....what a let down. Add that one to my list

I think everyone would love a PPK.

The most recent disappointment I've had was looking at the Glock 30.

I've been a 1911 fan for years, and I've hated the ugly plastic guns, but after shooting the glock 30, I thought that I might actually be talked into buying one. At least it's still in .45ACP. Damn 3.76" barrel did away with that dream.

I've had a ppk for almost 30 yrs, and haven't put a box of shell thru it. It's ok, but I have hands like shovels and once you have experienced a good hammer/slide bite, you will understand it's not my favorite, yet it WILL be on an ankle holster when they put me in my coffin. Since I can't carry it now they can arrest me then, (and you can dig me up at your peril, I've seen all the zombie movies). I've had any number of lugers, and as a machinist I can appreciate the engineering that went into making them. I have one that is over 100 yrs old that looks like it just came from the store (and it's restricted not prohib), but luger is german for really bad trigger. My current favorite is a Browning BDA in .380. It's double stack, extremely accurate in a decent cartridge and just big enough to fit my paw. I am actively looking for a snub model 19 or 29 roundbutt, and that is it for now. The REALLY nice thing about having 12/6 is that I can have differant favorites whatever strikes my fancy,and I have definately bought my share of impulse buys
