Your favorite .223 load? - UPDATED FEB 21

My pet load in my M12, 9 twist 26":

75gr Amax
23.8gr Varget
CCI 450 primer
Nostler cases
2.425" OAL

I'm seeing groups down to 1/2moa out to 300 with this load. Haven't been out further with it yet.

In a Savage 12 with 1 in 7 twist barrel:
- 24 grains of Varget
- CCI 400 primers
- 75 grain Amax
- 2.516 COAL, about 4 thousands off the lands

One I've been shooting a lot of coyotes with lately: Nosler 35 gr ballistic tip lead free, 29.5 grs of Tac, LC case, Fed 205 sr match primer. Clocks 4000+fps out of my Kimer Montana and kills like a 22-250.

Rem. SPS Tac.
For coyotes and 100 yd. paper:

55gr Nosler BT Varmint
24.5 grs. imr 8208
Win. case
Rem 7-1/2 primer
.030 off lands

Long-ish range plinking:

70 gr. Berger VLD
24.9 grs. Varget
Win. case
Rem 7-1/2 primer
.010 jam into lands

Both are moa or better at the ranges I've shot.

Do you find this to be a really accurate say 200yard load? Approximatly how far away from the lands are you seating the bullets? I have had excellent results with noslers before, but not sure about the really light loads. I have a 1/8twist 26" shilen barrel

Rifle Stevens 200 1 in 9 twist

Case IVI
Primer cci 400
Powder Hodgdon CFE223 25.2 gr
Bullet Hornady 60 gr V max

Case IVI
Primer cci 400
Powder Accurate 2230 24.3 gr
Bullet Nosler BT 55 gr

Here is the recipe which works great in my Norinco M4:

Range brass, any head stamp (didn't buy .223 brass in 20 years, and the price is right :)).
25 grs Varget
55 grs Hornady bulk, FMJ
any small rifle primer

This load is excellent, and reasonably accurate.

Approximately $0.27 per round, or $5.40 per box (including taxes and shipping for components).
Doesn't get any cheaper.

Here's my H335 load. Results average around 3/4 MOA at 100 yards, with 1/2 MOA when everything comes together for me.

Savage model 10 precision carbine 1:9 twist
Case - Rem (I sometimes use FC brass too, but I see a little loss in accuracy)
Powder - 23.8Gr H335
Primer - CCI BR4 or FGM (both give me about the same results, so really whichever I can get my hands on)
Bullet - 69gr SMK @ 2.240" OAL

Remington 700 VLS 6-18 Leupold VX-II
Gre-Tan lightweight firing pin & spring
Win case
CCI BR primer
25.0 gr. H335
Nosler 55 BT
COAL 2.260"
Groups under 1/2" @ 100. - one keeper @ .108"
