Your favorite 25-06 big game load?

Let me know what big game load you load for your 25-06,and how it performes on game.

100 gr tsx with max load of Imr 4350. Shot a moose at 440 yds (longest shot) and numerous others closer. Also a caribou same bullet out of 257 wby. Can't go wrong with it

The 100TSX over 57 grains of RL22 for close to 3400 fps, or the 115 NP over IMR4831, H4831 or RL22 for close to 3200 fps. Either will take any deer, elk or moose you want to point it at. I have had the best "luck" with magnum primers.

I load the 100 gr Barnes TSX over 57.0 grs H4831sc for a friends Weatherby Ultralight 25-06. It chrony'd @ 3280 fps and seems to be very effective on deer sized game, I think he even shot a small bull moose with it.

For deer I just use factory 120gr Cor-Locks,and they work fine.
What I am looking for is a load for moose.Sciroccos have been my bullet of choice for my 280,but Swift doesn't make them in .25 cal.I was wanting to get my hands on some Barnes X,and some 120gr partitions to load and try before the hunt just two weeks away if I can get my lent out dies back in short order.If not I will have to get some factory rounds to take to the range.Federal fusions perhaps?

I like the 120 Partition with RL 22. Very effective on deer size game, and would not hesitate to shoot a moose with this load. Regards, Eagleye.

I load 54gr of H-4831/Win Case/ Fed mag primer and a 120 Hornady HP on top.Many deer and one young bull elk at 400 yards.Took out a rib going in and another going out...................54gr of RE-22/115gr Nosler partition is a gooder too! Harold
