I recently swapped out my factory synthetic stock on my mini for a butler creek folder. This stock seems to be very well built. I love the feel of the grip and the folding mechanism is solid. My only gripe is that it adds a bit more weight to the rifle making it feel slightly front heavy. Just curious what aftermarket stocks others are running on their minis.

Hogue Overmolded.
I have been tossing around the idea of taking the factory wood one and stripping it and staining it some random color and seeing what it looks like.

I thought about trying the Hogue overmold...does the Hogue stock add much weight? I also heard that dirt likes to stick to it.

Currently have a Hogue, like the longer length of pull from the factory one.

Had an Archangel sparta, found it too bulky. Also a pita to take apart to clean.

Any folder is likely to be front heavy. Nature of the beast.

I really like the factory wood stock. The hogue or bc folder are the only ones I'd consider.

Prohibited device in Canada!

I have a Sparta stock right now, but the weight and the bulk will make me go for a Hogue Overmolded in FDE.....if I can find one in Canada. (To make my mini 14 the little brother to my SOCOM 16 in FDE)

Like the wooden stock in my ranch, but thinking of a Boyds thumbhole. The stock on my Target model is great, but heavy, hoping the Boyds gives the same fit without the weight.
