Your guys opinions on a reasonably priced bi pod

Im happy with Harris but my shooting is all geared to hunting predators and like the fact the have numerous heights. I hunt year round and am pretty rough at times with stuff and they really hold up well. Avoid the Harris knockoffs, they are junk. Never have tried ATLAS but I doubt they have a bipod that extends out to 29".

Cheers!!

Versa pods are a bit on the heavy side but shoot in the same POI as shooting off a bag are well built and adjustable...The Harris is a good bipod but I have found as much as a 2MOA change in POI depending on how hard the surface is your shooting off...My favorite is the Atlas, no change in POI, well built yet light and very adjustable...You get what you pay for.

If your point of impact is changing with a bipod it is your technique and follow through to blame, not likely an issue with your bipod.

I bought a Champion for my .243.

Seems to work really well, and looks very similar to the Harris construction.

Haha, good choice on the atlas, but it sounded like you were looking for a cost effective bipod! I suppose never having to replace it with a better one is cost effective too!

I bought a blackhawk bipod for a steal and love it, but i was on a budget and also dont have a Harris or accu-shot to compare it to.

Congrats on the new toy

I'm pretty happy with the one I picked up here on my 338 LM:

Pretty similar to the Atlas.

To each their own but I have a UTG Super Duty Tactical Op QD Bi-Pod its a very solid bipod it was $50 off Amazon it holds rock solid with no play I cannot see how a $200 bipod would improve anything from it.

I have been rocking a Harris for 20 years lol never had a issue with it. I wish I could find POD claws for it.

Same! I've used the Champion pivoting bipod from Canadian Tire in the past and it was just as solid as any Harris I've used. For +/- $60 it served it's purpose well.

How does a bipod change your POI? It makes no difference if your rifle is on a bipod, a bag, a rock, or in your hand.. If it's steady and your scope is zeroed it will hit where you're aiming..
