I do plenty of high end Carpentry in town. I am also, of course, a firearms owner.
My question is if people would pay to have older wooden stocks refinished to look new again?
I have the talent but want some feedback before I think any more about it
 
I guess it would depend on the type and age of gun. Some collectibles would hardly never see refinishing , like Winchesters. But those that want to refinish an older hunting rifle or family heirloom then they would seek refinishing. It depends also on the finish a person wants on the wood. I prefer the oiled , rubbed and waxed finish not the high lacquer, plastic looking finishes that are available. but people do have many different choices.
