I am considering getting a Performance Center, Thompson/Center Arms, T/CR22 Rimfire Rifle which has a carbon fiber wrapped barrel.

Looking for your review on this 22LR. quality fit etc.

Also what scope did you mount and ring height.

Thanks in advance for your time and input.

I'd be interested in any feedback on the T/CR22, especially the bone-stock version. I've held them a few times, and was even eyeballing one in my LGS about 30 minutes ago. (package that includes a red dot) Different barrel/stock...but to me, these look like a nice improvement on the 10/22-a gun I'm not a huge fan of.

The T/CR22 (standard, one I'm looking at) is, and has been a temptation for some time. I'm drawn to the nice fit/finish, the stock geometry is nice, the gun is light, etc. All good points, but as much as I like the look/fit of that stock...it might be the most flimsy stock I've ever experienced on a rimfire. And I've owned Savage Mark IIs. lol

I didn't know any other version existed until this thread, so I'm watching with interest.

The stock is why I am looking at it. We are shooting a bolt action now and one kid is a righty the other is a lefty, this stock being ambidextrous. Easier for the lefty.

I only want to take one gun to the range so I can have better control over the shooter.
