I am seriously considering the new scaled down Browning 1911 22 and I would like to have your taught on it.

It seems very nice with about only 85% of the actual 1911 full size pistol.

If anyone as one, please let me know your taught of it . Like / dislike , Pros & cons.

Thanks!

I've looked it up at the gunshop before getting a GSG 1911 22lr (or SIG 1911-22; they're the same).

The main issue I had with it was size, it totally killed the deal for me. I prefered a full size pistol which replicated better the size and weight of a real 1911 in 45.

Too pricey for what it is.....get the GSG or even the Colt versions. If you are set on GI style Chiappa goes for $325 at Wolverine

Great Starter Pistol

I purchased one for my wife in february. She was nervous of guns so it was a good fit since the smaller frame of lightweight aluminum was easy to handle. After 6 months and about 1500 rounds she has become familiar enough to advance to a Glock G17. The Browning is still a favorite for newbies we take to the range etc. Kids also love it since we let a 5 year old try it a few weeks ago with his dads supervision. The only downside I've seen so far is that it only comes with one magazine and the sights suck since they used the original 1911 basic militay sights with no contrast.

I love mine. Great, accurate little gun. I can never get use to a full size 1911 that only kicks like a .22' just isn't right, and does absolutely nothing for practicing for the real thing in my mind. The small size is in scale with the small recoil. The sites are small but surprisingly easy to use. Your right about $672.00 being over price, if you look around at different dealers you can get them for about a hundred bucks less than that.

I just bought one for my wife last week. I would say the sizing is closer to 75-80% of a full size 1911 model. However, even for the size its light weight left both my wife and I surprised.
We haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but its clean and fits her smaller hands well. She immediately took to the 1911 design so styling was never an issue.

I bought one this summer from Jo-Brook. Paid $550, bought a second mag; that was pricey. However it has been a pleasure to shoot and cheap to operate.
great gun to teach the kids to shoot with and fun for the adults.

I bought one two months ago. Fun to shoot, feels nice in the hands, and wife loves it. Being as wife likes to shoot it, I get to go shooting more. Sites suck, but working on a fix for that.

I just shot about 200 rounds though mine yesterday without any problems. Used mini mags, stingers, standard velocity, etc. very reliable and fun to shoot. I also have 2 extra mags.

I like it, I was unsure about the miniature size of it (it looks tiny compared to a full size 1911), but it's grown on me. I'll maybe be picking one up in the near future. It seems to be quite well made, and I haven't heard of any serious issues with them.
