Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting one of these and would appreciate some feedback from those of you who own or have had an opportunity to use one. As well, is the Aimpoint Micro T-I /TP9 package that Wolverine has for sale is worth the extra money vs. the standard TP9.

thanks in advance.

Tp9

I have had my TP9 for about 2 years now. I love it. It just feels right. Every corner, every part. Probably the most ergonomic of all the semi-SMG's I own. Accurate too. I haven't owned a T1, but I do have a clone with the same dimensions. They are a good fit. But if you are going to pay that kind of money for a sight. Get the new micro Eotech, holographic is better and that one has a choice of recticles with a neat 6 MOA ring and 2, 1 MOA dots. Roughly the same price as a T1. If you are into that type of gun, the TP9 is top shelf.

I love mine. It's traded from a Famae Mini and it is by far a better smg.

My only complaint is that the wife loves it too due to the size, wieght and excellent handling characteristics. As such it has become 'hers'. I don't have to make excuses to hit the range anymore, just have to cover the cost of the extra 9mm she and her girlfreinds lob downrange. Happy wife happy life.

On the upside now that she's interested it makes new aquisitions an easier sell:D

Make sure you pick up extra mags, they burn through them quick at 5rd cap.

Loved mine and miss it now that i sold it.The only reason i sold it was due to the 5 rnd max in mag. There is no reason why we couldnt have 10 rnd mags.

I love mine! It tends to get shot a lot more in the winter than my other black guns as I can use it at our indoor range. Not so with my 223's. Very accurate as has been mentioned. Cool factor is way high!

Hey man, where did you get the fake can? DSA?

thanks for the replies guys, certainly encouraging feedback. Yep I am aware that it is considered a rifle so the mags are 5 rounds only - sucks but for me not a real biggie if I get a few mags to offset.

Hey Uberfiend that is one nice looking setup! I didn't think the fake suppressor would look so cool. I see Wolverine is selling them for 500.00 (ouch) so I don't think I'll be looking to pick up one just for the bling factor. I am also curious about your sight that you have on it.. what is it and how much did it run you?

It is a nice setup. But it belongs to Inncorrigible, I was quoting it to ask about the fake can-but you answered that question, Wolverine. Thanks man.

I got to handle one yesterday, tan package from wolverine. Awesome little carbine, cant comment on how it shoots but its a breeze to get on target extremely well balanced, the aimpoint micro is awesome as well. Clear as day. Cool factor is WAY high.

It's absolutely perfect.

I would really, really like to see more of these carbines in 45ACP though. No reason for that other than convenience, really, I already have all the crap for making 45's.

That suppressor can land you in jail if it even drops the sound 1db then its prohib.. looks Awsome tho.

FAKE suppressor dude. Sold by Wolverine. Not homemade. 100% legal. You can't get arrested for extending your barrel and adding weight. This is a thread about TP9 joy. Think happy thoughts-not fearmongering ones.

whoops, thanks for the correction Uberfiend... Is the TP9 fussy with the type of ammo you feed it like what I've heard about GLOCKS liking factory ammo and don't do well with reloads...

They are very nice - probably the most advanced production 9mm SMG in the market.

Mine( which I had sold) digested handloads without issues.

Got one from Wolverine, sent yesterday, and should see it next week. Wanted one for some time, but wasn't sure if I could afford it. I saw it at the Calgary gun show and decided I would get it when I tucked away enough cash.
I ordered mine without the Aimpoint for $1950 as I already have an EOTech that I use on my AR15 and CZ858, I'll save the cash for night vision or something.
It is a shame about the 5 round controversy, but I decided to go ahead anyway. I mean, it's only 9mm and bulkier than a pistol, so you'd think it would be allowed a full 10 rounds and not be considered a rifle. A CX4 Storm has a 10 round cap chambered for 9mm or 40 cal., but is bulky so I suppose that is the reason for the 10 rounds. Perhaps it's just the scare factor of the look of a sub-machine gun that made the decision. Who knows... but I got one anyway.

The Storm can have 10rds because it uses a pistol mag, now if they could make this gun take a pistol mag we have a winner, frankly the Glock mag would be a winner for them and give them the capacity the auto needs.
