your thoughts. (Rem 750)

I have the same gun. Mine is the carbine length. In two years deer hunting I have bagged one each year with it. It seems to prefer hand-loads and Federal ammo to winchester. Keep the chamber clean (every 10-12 shots) and you won't have problems.

I have owned two. A .308 and a .35 Whelen, both carbines. Both were very reliable. The .35 NEVER jammed. The .308 needed about 50 rounds through it to smooth it up. It Never jammed after the break in. I traded them for other interests, not because they were unreliable. Enjoy the gun. IF you have problems the magazine is the place to start. I doubt you will.

regards, Darryl

Had one in a 35 Whelen carbine, only swamped once during the 2 boxes break in. Never had a problem after that. Great gun, I just traded it, cause I am a Gun Nut and wanted something different.:D
