I'm considering a youth lever rifle for my boys. I know the new Marlins have some QC issues, so I believe the best and the only choices left are the Browning Micro Midas BL 22 and the Henry Youth model.
Price not being the deciding factor which is the better choice?
Does one have a better trigger than the other?
Comments and thoughts would be appreciated.
I will be buying a CZ 452 Scout and already have a Savage Cub but I want my boys to have experience with a lever as well, as I really enjoyed having one as a boy.

I had both a Browning BL22 (not Midas) and a Henry H001 (not youth). I sold the BL22 and kept the Henry. The Henry has a much smoother lever stroke, and in my opinion, the trigger is better as well. The only advantage of the BL22 is the shorter lever stroke.

My wife has the Henry youth 22 and its awesome. I want to buy an adult version for myself. Its very smooth and accurate. The the walnut stock on hers is beautiful and nicely finished. Overall quality fantastic and it was less than 300 bucks. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the feedback! That makes up my mind, I don't think anyone carries them locally in Calgary though. If I have to mail order who got the best price?
