CGN member 308BAR did send me his review of my internal action wrench today that I am very gratefull for. I wish I had his computer skills to do it myself but I guess I am to old of a dog to learn new tricks.
By the end of that review he points to very important point that wrench should be supported at socket to use twisting force only without bending the assembly so receiver will end up being straight.

In all honesty Roman that usually isn't an issue. Your wrench operates at the front of the action, inside the receiver ring. There isn't any torque on the rest of the receiver behind it.

If 308BAR is using downward pressure on the wrench, he isn't using it properly.

Is he looking for internal support at the rear??? That would just cause binding, which would create other issues.

IMHO, I would like your wrench to be about 6 inches longer but it works well as it is. The best mousetrap is a simple mousetrap.

The video is unavailable by the way.

Hi Gerard, I will machine a wrench for you any lenght you wish. If you find the one you have to short then you can switch it for the longer one anytime free of charge. Currently they are 9" long.
Thanks for the pointer though, I appreciate it, trying to make them as compact as possible but still long enough for the longest of actions.

Supporting the wrench outside of the action at the rear is so you can place a lot of downward pressure and not bend the action... all the torque is transferred directly to the front of the wrench. I have been doing that with a piece of 1 x 4 that wedges under the wrench and contacts the floor. There is nothing wrong with downward pressure, it is required when barrels are tight.
