Hey guys does anyone have a synthetic stock that they recommend?I notice Marstar has one but dont like the top rail for the scope is that removeable??I also notice Cabelas Canada has a ramline stock does it require fitting or are they good?? thanx

My father in-law has the ramline stock on his .270 Mauser, and it fits fine, but it didn't work perfectly until I glass-bedded it for him. As for the ATI stock, yes, you can leave the scope rail off. There was a member who posted photos of several rifles he finished with painted-up ATI stocks (without that ugly rail), and they looked pretty sharp. Methinks it was in the Precision Rifles Pics thread, but I might be wrong.
