Yugo M48 Trigger Guard

I have recently acquired a Yugo M48 but when disassembling it I could not get the trigger guard out no matter how hard I tried. I was able to get it partially out but that is it. Does anyone have any tips?

take a wooden dowel and tap it out through the top, then clean up the tight spots in the mag well of the stock. bearhunter
