Hey everyone, I came across this website https://www.classicfirearms.com/yugo-sks-for-sale they are offering Yugo SKS's by the crate. 10 in total 4000 bucks 400 us a piece. I was wondering if we could go in on a group buy and get someone like Irunguns to import them for us.

I'm in for 1.

I almost guarantee this will not happen unless an individual buys the crate and gets PR or IRG to import at a significant cost.

Can't see a retailer bringing them in unless they get a supplier because buying from a store at already inflated prices makes it hard to make money on them here.

Our dollar is in the can, doesn't help things at all.

These will be ruined by the U.S. import marking regulations. It's best if we found their source through a Canadian importer.

The UN marking system will be enabled quite soon. This may be the last chance to get a Yugo SKS which is likely still new in the wrap, other than the immediate area where the marking was done. It will only be a very short time when any newly imported firearms in Canada won't bear these marks.

As much as I dislike them, they are part of the firearm's history and as such do have a queasy but reliable addition to the provenance.

Finnish property marks "SA", Austrian and German depot marks, Italian AOI marks - those are parts of firearm history. UN markings are proofs of bureaucrats and politics stupidity that ruins historical artifacts.

I agree completely with you but that is also part of the history. It is also a sad fact of life that at present we can do nothing about.

Hes right the un marking system is coming and id wrather have one of these with the sweet grenade launcher then two russian sks. Also maybe if irun got a dealer discount we could get some kinda break we need 10 atleast so if it waant too pricey id be in for 1 lets give it a try!

Talk with Martin at Corwin Arms. With his connections and maybe with the help of Westrifle and Canada Ammo they can bring some of those rifles in.

This is the photo of the rifles in question when they were still meant for Canada. We won the bid for them but the deal breaker was pinning the magazine to 5 rounds, we had 10 days to arrange it and it was not enough time. Estimated retail price was to be $375 Canadian

Bummer, but if it was anyone to bring them in, I'm glad it was you Martin. I'm sure something better will come down your way, real glad you were looking into these.
