Nice one, congrats. were you drawn? here in sask about ten years ago we were allowed to shoot either a bull or calf on an regular tag, but they knocked it down to bulls only after the couple years of bad moose ticks we had. now if it has no horns you need a draw tag. calves are the best eating, and the easiest to get out of the bush!

The stalk started at about 100 until momma and calf spotted me... Momma made it into the bush, and the calf was going to start shortly, Took the shot. Resting on my day pack, it was solid and, I felt safe as Ive been practicing between 400 and 500.
