I had one and had to send it back for a refund because of stove pipes and jams, there were many failures to feed and extract using FMJ ammo.
I had a couple of the M57s in 7.62x25 and was equally unimpressed with them.

I had to do some amateur gunsmithing with mine, and now it shoots well. With this pistol Youtube is your friend.
Expect to have to do some tinkering....nothing too difficult. The Zastava is a well made pistol from an earlier era,
if you want to do some competition shooting, this in not the pistol for you. Here is mine:

Thanks for the feed back. I have a number of other 9 mm's, CZ's, Beretta's etc, but this appealed to me as it is something a little different. Had looked at getting a genuine surplus Tokarev in 7.62 x 25, but the fact this is in 9 MM and I reload makes it a little more appealing. Have you shot cast bullets out of yours?
Having something cheap to tinker with is part of the appeal. Also having a father who is a master gunsmith means some tuning on the cheap is possible here.
I haven't put any cast bullets through it, but it digests steel cased ammo no problems.
Nice thing about it over a TT is the grip is longer, allowing all fingers to grasp it.
The main spring guide has a clever hinge that makes disassembly even easier than the TT.
