Zastava dbm conversion?

Anyone ever converted one to dbm?
Are there kits available that would work?
It's for my father,I am looking for a wood stock 30-06 for xmas for him at a decent price.
Personally I wouldn't bother but he is hung up on detachable mags.

Would need one of these mags, and a standard 98 trigger guard, probably some fitting required. Will look like crap compared to the OEM hinged trigger guard.

You could get him into a Browning AB3 Hunter or X-bolt, nice rifles with DBM and walnut.

Merkel has a budget rifle out. R15 i think. Seems like a decent gun for the money and who can be disappointed getting a merkel. Extra mags im betting arent cheap

doable but you may find the feeding not as good. find a gunsmith that can do or it may never work properly.
